MOE’S Home Collection announces expansion of flagship Vancouver store

New showroom will offer chic, expedient shopping experience  starting this fall

Interior design devotees, mark your calendars! MOE’S Home Collection, Vancouver, Canada’s top spot for high-style furniture and home décor, today announced a $50,000 expansion of its flagship location’s third floor, including plans to remodel the space into a brand-new retail showroom. Starting this fall, shoppers will enjoy an added 13,000 ft² to browse world-class furniture lines including MOE’S proprietary collections, Copeland Furniture, Surya and Natuzzi Editions.

 

The third phase of a design-focused expansion launched in 2011 thanks to increased demand and the growing success of MOE’S private label collections, the new space will be styled with MOE’S signature design-forward vignettes, including bedrooms and offices, extending the modern, accessible and chic shopping experience currently enjoyed on the store’s lower floors. To facilitate the change, MOE’S will move its stockroom operations to a new 17,000 ft² warehouse located within minutes of the flagship store on Glen Drive.

 

“Expanding our flagship store’s showroom is an exciting step for our retail business,” said Sara Samieian, general manager of MOE’S retail division. “Staying as local as possible is a big priority, so we were thrilled to secure a new warehouse space just blocks away from the store.”

 

While the MOE’S Home Collection brand has a worldwide reach, geographically concentrating the Vancouver retail business brings nothing but benefits to local clientele.

 

“The added space will increase our stock, which means less wait time for pick-up and shipping, including customized pieces,” added Samieian. “Customers will be able to take home much of our merchandise within a week or two, which is largely unheard of for large-scale furniture retailers.”

 

This exciting development comes hot on the heels of MOE’S wholesale division’s 15-year anniversary this past June, a milestone made possible when management responsibilities transferred to the founder’s two children, Sara Samieian and Moe Samieian Jr. in 2008.
