Sensational features and renowned design talent alike are set to converge in style at the Vancouver Home + Design Show, happening October 16-19 at BC Place Stadium. With a full roster of lifestyle celebrities including Colin McAllister & Justin Ryan, stars of Cottage Life TV’s Colin & Justin’s Cabin Pressure, Bryan Baeumler, host of HGTV’s Leave It To Bryan, and Leigh-Ann Perrault, regular guest expert on Cityline, all set to appear on the Metrie Main Stage, plus 325+ local vendors and national exhibitors, it’s bound to inspire home makeovers both big and small.

According to Jill Kivett, regional director at Marketplace Events, owner and operator of the Vancouver Home + Design Show, this year’s show promises to be the best yet.

“We have a number of exciting new features and familiar favourites, plus an amazing group of international and local talent,” said Kivett, “Whether it’s expert advice, insight or inspiration for the home, there’s sure to be something for everyone.”

Urban Barn’s Next Top Designer: Reloaded

Three of Vancouver’s up-and-coming interior designers will go head-to-head in the ultimate micro-management exercise: designing a 150-square-foot dual-function space with $5,000 worth of Urban Barn furniture and accessories for display (and public vote!). The grand prize winner will be awarded a booth at the 2015 Vancouver Home + Design Show, a $1,000 Urban Barn shopping spree and a feature in Westcoast Homes + Design magazine, while one lucky voter will walk away with $5,000 to spend at Urban Barn!
