Celebrating Diwali @RonWilsonVan

 

As a relative newcomer to Vancouver (just over 2 years) I’ve come to love the rich cultural diversity of my new hometown. No matter the community I always feel welcome and how can you not enjoy a festival that celebrates light over darkness? So in honour of Diwali my modest offering is the perfect wine for every spicy dish. I’m talking about Tantalus Riesling.

This is a crisp, fresh wine with the perfect balance of acid and citrus. There’s great aromas of flowers followed by the flavours of apples and peaches as you take your first sip. There isn’t a better pairing for all of the myriad of spices found in south Asian cuisine. It’s B.C.’s gift to everyone celebrating Diwali.
