Wine Wednesday review by Ron Wilson

Canada’s grand national drunk….otherwise known as the Grey Cup is on Sunday. If you’re not inside B.C. Place for the game itself, chances are you’re hosting or attending a party. Either way this Clos du Soleil Rose is the perfect partner for everything from ribs to chili to pizza. Clos du Soleil winery is considered by many critics as a rising star in the Similkameen Valley. This rose proves the point. Its made entirely of Cabernet Sauvignon and has great structure. I smelled strawberries in the aroma and tasted plums and cherries. This is another example of B.C. challenging the wine world when it comes to producing great rose. Enjoy the game!
