This half bottle of pink bubbles is a perfect brunch or luncheon wine made from a blend of pinot noir and chardonnay. It is an inviting pale cherry red in colour with medium-light intensity. A classic champagne leesy nose along with a hint of red berries and citrus. Good balance and texture. Clean and crisp on the palate with a medium, dry finish.

This rosé, made from Pinot Noir, is light salmon in colour with medium-light intensity. Queen Anne cherries on the nose. Well balanced with good body. Clean and crisp on the palate with bright red cherries and a medium-long finish.

This Argentinian chardonnay is straw coloured with medium-light intensity. Butter, apple and tropical fruit on the nose. Good balance with a soft entry and good mouth feel. Apple and tropical fruit flavours on the palate. Citrus lingers on the medium finish. A good match for salmon, grilled chicken and white-sauced pastas.

8th Generation is a Summerland winery run by Stefanie and Bernd Schales. Stefanie’s wine growing family dates back 10 generations and Bernd is the 8th generation of Schales wine makers. 30% of this unfiltered wine was aged in new French oak and only 673 cases were made. Garnet red in colour with medium-deep intensity. The nose displays aromas of cherry and plum with earth and spice undertones. Well balanced. Bright red cherry and plum on the palate with a medium finish.
