Top Design Talents to Headline the Luxury Home & Design Show

The Luxury Home & Design Show will transform the Vancouver Convention Centre into a fully integrated, opulent and sophisticated 45,000 square-foot estate May 1-3, 2015, sharing its breath-taking roomscapes with anyone who dreams of design with no limits.

By pairing a carefully curated roster of internationally renowned, high-end home décor brands with some of Western Canada’s top designers, each custom room in the sumptuous showcase is designed to inspire and amaze. Highlights include:

Design Marque
for the Luxury Home & Design Show

At the vanguard of Vancouver’s design community for 22 years, Marque Thompson has created the show’s overall concept, referencing the great estate houses of Europe in a contemporary, West Coast manner. From the water features to the formal rooms and French gardens to the impressive 310 foot-long, 12 foot-high façade that will greet the Luxury Home & Design Show’s guests, the entire showcase floor is designed to help “inspire the visitor to invest in local talent to help them achieve the homes they aspire to create for themselves.”

Sarah Gallop Design Inc.
 for the Caesarstone Kitchen

The winner of multiple Georgie Awards, Sarah Gallop’s kitchen for Caesarstone quartz surfaces is inspired by the beaches of the West Coast. In order to create a constant vacation state in an otherwise hard-working room, Gallop will incorporate natural elements, textures and colours to embody “where the waves hit the sand and the light reflects on the surf.”

Joy Chao for John Henshaw Architect Inc.
and Robinson Lighting & Bath Centre Ensuite

Joy Chao’s indulgent, spa-like, 400 square-foot ensuite takes its themes from fashion’s top international trends for a balance between contemporary white cues and gilded Renaissance elegance. Complete with state-of-the-art Graytek smart lighting, Chao’s design also incorporates an églomisé glass panel by world-renowned, Vancouver-based artist Peter Gorman; a custom Schonbek crystal chandelier; and Stile’s rare, gold-toned, Italian hardwood flooring, which is making its Western Canadian debut in the space.
The Luxury Home & Design Show offers design aficionados the chance to experience the splendour that comes from the unfettered imaginations of the West Coast’s most distinguished design leaders, all under one roof.

Extravagant, visionary and one-of-a-kind, the Luxury Home & Design Show is haute couture for the home.
