Welcome to the Vancouver Foodster Taco Challenge. Restaurants from all over the city were invited to enter their taco creations into this challenge, most have created a special taco creation just for this challenge. Each restaurant will be featuring their tacos on their menu from May 21 – June 14, 2015.

Ensenada Stye Fish Taco – Snapper dusted with Little Mexico seasoning, topped with house dressing, guacamole sauce, white and purple cabbage slaw and pineapple pico de gallo
Lobster Cazadores Taco – Sautéed lobster, shallots, garlic, thai chile, lime juice, Little Mexico seasoning and Tequila Cazadores Reposado served over a bed of refried black beans topped with papaya, pickled red onions and cilantro served on double 4” corn tortillas – gluten free

For our Challenges, we have 2 sets of winners. The People’s Choice winners will be selected by the public who are invited to visit any of the participating restaurants and order the Taco creations and then decide on which ones they think are worthy of winning the challenge by casting their votes.

Voting: The public is invited to order these Taco creations at the participating restaurants keeping in mind this criteria – originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste. People can vote the same day after trying the Taco creation and they can vote once a day throughout the promotion. People will be encouraged to Vote for their favourites from May 21 – June 14, 2015.

With a smartphone, customers will be able to vote from their table in the restaurant right after they have eaten the Taco creation.
We will announce the winning restaurants and their Taco creations on June 15, 2015.
