Wine Adventures Magazine + Sommelier Services offer three Fall Wine Tastings at Legacy Liquor Store

This 2015/2016 season, Wine Adventures Magazine + Sommelier Services will be partnering with Legacy Liquor Store in Olympic Village in Vancouver as their chosen venue for their public wine tastings and workshops. Here are the three fall wine tastings to be held the last Sunday evening of September, October and November of 2015. Please join us for these one-of-a-kind interactive journalism feature story wine tastings and workshops.

Brunello: Tuscany’s Premier Red Wines

Join wine journalist and educator Gloria Chang on this feature story wine tasting of Italy’s premier red wines. From the rolling hills around the town of Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino is the most powerful expression of the grape sangiovese. Rich, bold, and age worthy, these wines will mesmerize you with a sense of terroir, unparalleled quality, and of course, pleasure. This is a small and intimate sit-down tasting with light finger food, and a beautiful slideshow to take you on a journey to the southern stretch of Tuscany, Italy after Gloria’s in-depth visit there.

You’ll learn what you like and why, and perhaps discover new styles to increase your wine pleasure.

Wines of France: Journey through the Loire Valley

Join wine journalist and educator Gloria Chang on this feature story wine tasting of the wines of France through the bucolic vineyards of the Loire Valley. Rich in history and culture, the Loire Valley is a highly varied wine region. Following the Loire River west to east, we’ll explore its beautiful wines through its primary grape varieties: muscadet, chenin blanc (Vouvray), sauvignon blanc (Sancerre) in the whites, and cabernet franc and pinot noir in the reds. This is a small and intimate sit-down tasting with light finger food, and a beautiful slideshow to take you on a journey along the banks of the longest river of France after Gloria’s in-depth visit there.
