The Kettle Society Presents Art Against Stigma Art Show November 19-22, 2015

 

WHAT: The Kettle Society’s Art Against Stigma is a gallery style art show and sale, which will be taking place as part of the 19th Annual Eastside Culture Crawl 2015.

Art Against Stigma will feature more than a thousand pieces of art created by local artists living with a mental health disability. All works are available for purchase with all proceeds going directly to the artists.

The aim of the exhibition is to address the misunderstandings and stigma surrounding mental illness.

In addition to the gallery and art sales there will be an opening evening reception and expressive arts workshops. Art Against Stigma is a free event but pre-registration is essential for the expressive arts workshops.

Free Expressive Arts Workshop:

Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22, 1pm – 3pm
