TURN YOUR LIGHTS DOWN LOW: CAFÉ MEDINA HOSTS EXCLUSIVE MEDINA AFTER DARK: CHEFS’ KITCHEN PARTY EVENT JUNE 6

Six Visiting Chefs Join Café Medina Kitchen Crew For All-Star, After-Hours Event With Partial Proceeds Donated To Mealshare Aid Foundation

The culinary stars align on Monday, June 6 at Café Medina as the breakfast, lunch and daily brunch hotspot opens its doors for an exclusive Medina After Dark event that will see six top local chefs join forces with Medina’s Deniz Tarakcioglu and Adam Perrier to host a Chefs’ Kitchen Party event.

Beginning at 7 p.m., Tarakcioglu and Perrier will welcome Chefs Dan Larsen (La Quercia), Alex Ploughman (Consulting Chef), Joël Watanabe (Bao Bei, Kissa Tanto), Nico Schuermans (Chambar), David Robertson (The Dirty Apron) and Eleanor Chow (Cadeaux Bakery) for a reception-style communal feast.

Ten dollars ($10) from the sale of each $95 ticket to the after-hours soirée — which also includes free-flowing beer, wine and cocktails — will be donated to Mealshare Aid Foundation, which provides meals to Vancouver area children and youth in need.

“We’re excited to bring together a veritable who’s who of local chefs to combine their talents for an old-fashioned potluck while bringing our industry together to give a little something back,” says Café Medina owner Robbie Kane. “Our hope is that this evening event will kick off a series of Medina After Dark events.”
