Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria announces major Saskatchewan expansion in late 2016 and early 2017

 

Neighbourhood pizzeria expands operations with three new locations
in Regina and Lloydminster

Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, today announced major expansion plans in Saskatchewan with the opening of three new locations, joining the company’s existing restaurant located in Hill Centre Tower, downtown Regina. The restaurant’s 29th franchised location will open in late fall 2016 on Rochdale Blvd, near Superstore and their 30th location is set to open in Eastgate in early 2017. The 31st location will open shortly thereafter in Lloydminster.

Earlier this year, Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria was also ranked No. 105 on the 28th PROFIT 500, the definitive list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies, ranked annually by PROFIT Magazine and Canadian Business. The PROFIT 500 ranks Canadian businesses by their five-year revenue growth, and recognizes Famoso’s steady growth and expansion throughout Western Canada and in Ontario. The addition of three new Famoso franchises in Western Canada speaks to the popularity and love of the brand among pizza lovers and foodies in Saskatchewan, and moreover, across the country.

The opening of the new Rochdale location in late fall 2016 will be led by the general manager and owner of the existing Hill Centre location, Chris Machin. Machin’s expertise and passion for Regina’s emerging food scene serves as the foundation for the opening of his second location in as many years. In the New Year, the Eastgate opening will be led by new operating partner and general manager Todd Taylor. More details on the third and final location are expected to be finalized soon.
