Cibo Welcomes Guests for Series of Family Dinners Featuring Trattoria’s Rustic Italian-Inspired Fare Every Sunday

 

Cibo Trattoria is inviting guests to gather friends and family around the dinner table on Sunday evenings starting May 7 when the restaurant launches an ongoing series of ‘Mangia Famiglia’ Sunday Suppers served up family style in the warmth of the inviting downtown enclave.

With menus that feature an ever-changing roast meat entrée and a selection of seasonal side dishes, the Sunday Suppers give guests the opportunity to raise a glass and say ‘Salute!’ while tucking into a feast that showcases Cibo’s hearty, Italian-inspired cuisine. This family-style dinner is offered at $27 per person (two person minimum) with optional wine pairings also available.

The downtown restaurant recently revamped not only its lunch, dinner and brunch menus in addition to its wine list — which features an extensive selection of notable Italian varietals and unique vintages hailing from both New and Old World regions around the world — but the back-of-house team, adding chefs Jonathan Chovancek (Sooke Harbour House, Culinary Capers, Café Medina) and Josh Gonneau (Ontario’s The Oakville Club, Boulevard Club and Land and Fire Local Kitchen).
