The Uncommon Cafe gets new digs!

With the cafe’s second anniversary just around the corner, owners, Luc & Lisa Leimanis, brought in local designer Jennifer Scott of A Good Chick to Know and Lindsay Lee of Forage & Lace to brighten up the café!

Keeping it fresh, white & local.

Our owners are well known for supporting other local small businesses and wanted to ensure their re-design was no different. “It was really important for us to use other small businesses in our revamp.” says Lisa. “We also needed to ensure the home like cozy feeling remained. It always makes me smile to see someone with their feet up eating a pizza reading a book in “Uncle Caleb’s” corner.”

We believe we’ve achieved our goal by adding whimsical beautiful macrame wall hangings, (by Forage & Lace), multitudes of planted succulents, (by Spade & Pointer) re-arranging the furniture to allow a better flow and feel to the space and added some some new vintage lighting to add the perfect glow. The best part is all the local pieces are for sale.

So come on in and enjoy a local beverage and homemade treat while relaxing or doing some work in the homely, calming, charming and welcoming space. We look forward to hosting you soon!
