Winner of Top Chef Canada Joins EAT! Vancouver 2017

Plus two talented chefs join the star-studded lineup of chefs

To kick-off ticket sales of EAT! Vancouver on July 17, the highly anticipated culinary festival announced additional outstanding chefs to the star-studded lineup of participating chefs.

• Nicole Gomes (Calgary), winner of Top Chef Canada’s 2017 All-Star and chef of Nicole Gourmet

• Shelome Bouvette (Vancouver), executive chef of Chicha Restaurant

• Isabel Chung (Whistler), executive chef of Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

Gomes, Bouvette and Chung are all talented and passionate chefs who started their culinary journey in Canada and then traveled worldwide to gain global flavours to bring back to Canada. Through the years, they have fine-tuned their technique and discipline to transform their culinary skills and passion into edible art.

As first time chef participants in the renowned EAT! Vancouver festival, Gomes, Bouvette and Chung look forward to the creativity and collaborative synergy from Vancouver chefs and the city’s vibrant food scene.

Bouvette and Chung will collaborate on an EAT! Dinner series event to take place at Chicha on November 9. Gomes will join 16 of Canada’s acclaimed chefs to create delicious canapés during EAT! Harvest on November 10.

Tickets go on sale July 17 at www.eat-vancouver.com. Net proceeds from this year’s EAT! Vancouver festival will benefit Project CHEF.
