South Surrey’s Christmas Store at Potter’s is Western Canada’s largest Christmas store
Come one, come all, to the House of the Holiday Spirit – The Christmas Store at Potter’s. Western Canada’s largest and most fantastically festive Christmas store opens today, November 1, and keeps the fun going until December 24.
Potter’s Nurseries and its 28,000-sq.ft. space has been transformed into a holiday wonderland with an entire showroom twinkling and rustling with Christmas ornaments and décor, including garlands, wreaths and swags. Whatever your theme, whether it’s equestrian, baseball, fishing or woodland creatures, Potter’s is likely to offer something new. This year, canvases sporting 50 Christmas designs peppered with LED lights are all on display lit up, so you can choose what appeals to you most. Even minimalists will find that Christmas cushions, available in 20 different designs, tastefully spark up even the sparest room.
Holiday entertaining gets a giant boost from the Gourmet Foods section of Potter’s, as well. Choose from a full line of Rothschild’s sauces, jellies and dips to boost appetizers and liven up buffets. From ZOE’s 10 flavours of olive oils to Glitter Jelly – sweet jellies infused with edible silver flakes – there are items to dazzle both the eyes and the palate. Potter’s has also stocked up on its bestselling food item – Chef Ann Kirsebom’s irresistible Tequila Lime Sauce.
Potter’s also offers a vast selection of items for the hard-to-buy-for, whether it’s a Polar Bear Watch with a fluffy creature on its face ($19.88); one-size-fits-all fleece leggings in nine colours ($9.97); or LED lights for bike wheels, in four colours that screw onto the recipient’s bike’s air caps to improve both visibility and fun ($9.97 for a pack of two). In addition, more than 200 inspired and zany stocking stuffers also lie in wait.
Weekends at Potter’s are especially vivacious in December, with live holiday music, and appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus starting December 2. The Clauses appear from 10 am – 3 pm on Saturdays, and from 11 am to 3 pm on Sundays, through Sunday, December 17.
