45th Annual Christmas at Hycroft

The events held at Hycroft were legendary, the guest book read like a Who’s Who of the 20’s and 30’s and contained names of visiting royalty, well-known business associates, politicians and the social elite of Vancouver.

We continue the tradition of great events at Hycroft with Christmas at Hycroft, the single largest fundraiser for the Hycroft Heritage Preservation Foundation.

The beautiful setting of Hycroft makes Christmas at Hycroft unlike any other event in Vancouver as it spectacularly showcases early architectural history while being the start of seasonal festivities for many Vancouver families.

Inside the stately 17,000 square foot Edwardian manor, next to the magnificent ornamental plasterwork created by Sculptor Charles Marega (probably best known for creating the twin Lions of the Lions Gate Bridge) guests will find the warmth of Christmas reflected in the splendid décor, unique boutiques and the many local artisans with their one-of-a-kind gifts.

Throughout the four day Christmas Fair, Christmas at Hycroft hosts a stream of live entertainment including performances from pipers, to accomplished pianists, choirs, crooners, jazz bands, harps and even ukuleles – there’s something for everyone.

Christmas at Hycroft, a Vancouver tradition now celebrating its 45th year, has truly become a lovely Christmas ritual.
