A seasoned Food Journalist for both Chinese and English print and online publications, Stephanie hosted the very first Food & Wine Chinese radio show in Canada and went on to talk weekly about food on CBC Radio 1.
Highly regarded as the ‘Doyenne of Asian cuisine & culture’ in Canada, Stephanie now contributes to print and online English and Chinese publications locally and overseas; appears on Radio and TV programs; organizes food events and cooking shows; she also works for major food companies as the spokesperson and helps develop recipes.
Stephanie released her first English cookbook ‘East Meets West – Traditional and Contemporary Asian Recipes from Acclaimed Vancouver Restaurants’ last summer in which she shares her food-thoughts and dining experiences, as well as the recipes, cultural and culinary history of Metro Vancouver’s Asian communities and restaurants. “East Meets West” is a finalist for ‘Taste Canada Food Writing Award’.
