CLOS DU SOLEIL SUPPORTS PSYCHOLOGICAL FIRST AID FOR ESSENTIAL SERVICES WORKERS

At Clos du Soleil we are doing our best to support our community, and our customers, in any way we can. We want to do more though. That is why we have partnered with the British Columbia Psychological Association to offer financial support for their recently launched BCPA COVID-19 Psychological Support Service.

Dine Railtown has officially started on November 1st until November 30

Each restaurant has a featured dish and the proceeds of that dish go to the Powell Street Getaway at 528 Powell Street, a peer-led resource centre that supports people living with chronic illnesses, addictions and/or mental health challenges. Funds raised from Dine Railtown will be put directly towards Powell Street Getaway programming and initiatives.

Vancouver chefs unite to raise awareness for mental health initiatives

Several Vancouver chefs have banded together to end the stigma on speaking out about the prevalence of mental health issues in the kitchen. They want people to speak up and loud. On Monday, November 18, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., the whole community is invited to help mobilize change in the hospitality industry with the launch of the inaugural Kitchen Aide fundraiser at Café Medina (780 Richards Street).
