ICEWINE HARVEST RETURNS TO BC

Recent plunging temperatures have prompted wineries to begin harvesting for Icewine. Temperatures dipped to -8˚C (17.6˚F), beginning November 28 making the conditions perfect for Icewine harvest. To be called true Icewine, frozen grapes must be harvested at -8˚C (17.6˚F), or below and must reach quality standards including 35 Brix of sugar.

The first Fall Wine Maker’s Dinner hosted by Water Street Cafe featuring the Wines of Noble Ridge – a review

The team at Water Street did an incredible job presenting 6 courses starting with a selection of delicious canapés. The following courses were wonderfully seasonal, fresh and local orchestrated to a high level of culinary delight. As always the choice of dishes were complimented by the excellent choice of Noble Ridge wines.
