Syrah- Viognier

Winemaking notes: The Syrah fruit for this vintage was sourced from our own estate along with premium vineyards in Oliver and Osoyoos. The Viognier comes from our long time growers in Osoyoos. The grapes were handpicked and then destemmed and lightly crushed. In the traditional Rhone style, the varietals were co-fermented to maximize fruit intensity, following an extended maceration the wine completed malolactic fermentation. Barrel aged with 40% in new oak and 60% neutral barrels.

Reserve Cabernet Franc

Winemaking notes: This premium reserve wine is crafted with grapes from our old vines Cabernet Franc of Block 3 on our estate, which was originally planted in 1968.  Handpicked in excellent conditions over three days in mid-October, the grapes showed ideal flavours and ripeness. The fruit was gently fermented on the skins in our Italian Ganimede fermenters for an extended period to extract maximum colour and flavours. After a gentle press, the wine was settled and underwent malolactic fermentation and was then aged in a combination of French and American barrels.  A classic wine with ripe fruit, superior structure and style, this vintage will age gracefully.

Late Harvest Pinot Blanc

Winemaking notes: Our estate old vines Pinot Blanc fruit was handpicked on a chilly December 19th, and whole cluster pressed on that same day. The resulting nectar was cold settled and fermented at cooler temperatures. Fermentation was halted on January 10th 2018 leaving the desired amount of natural sweetness to complement the Pinot Blanc’s natural vibrant acidity. The wine saw 100% stainless steel to fully express this bright and fresh Golden Mile fruit.
