Calling all Christmas lovers! Canada’s favourite holiday is coming early to Lougheed Town Centre with the grand arrival of Santa Claus and his elfin crew on Sunday, November 23, starting at 11AM. With a sleigh full of goodies plus a roster of festive activities and can’t-miss live entertainment, Mr. Claus and Co. will ensure holiday magic for all, including guaranteed indoor snowfalls multiple times per day.

According to Sara Park, Marketing Manager for Lougheed Town Centre, the big man’s impending arrival is inspiring Christmas spirit near and far.

“We are so pleased that Santa and his crew have once again decided to kick off their holiday world tour at Lougheed Town Centre this year,” said Park. “In anticipation of his return, we have renovated his home-away-from-the-workshop into a cozy enclosed cabin where he can meet his fans and our guests in true comfort.”

The forecast for Sunday, November 23 calls for festive fun with a high chance of holiday cheer.

11:00AM | Bobs + Lolo Performance

Warm up those dancing feet with Bobs + Lolo, BC’s favourite children’s group dedicated to music that engages, inspires and educates.

11:30AM | Santa Claus Parade

Get a glimpse of Santa’s entourage, including holiday favourite Frosty the Snowman, as he leads them and a marching band in a lively jaunt around the shopping centre.

11:40AM | First Guaranteed Indoor Snowfall 

Watch Lougheed Town Centre transform into a winter wonderland for the first time this holiday season.

12:00PM | Gingerbread Decorating & Letters to Santa

Kids won’t want to miss out on this festive activity, where crafting and wish lists meet cookies and icing!

And that’s not all. Santa’s elves have been hard at work at Lougheed Town Centre creating a selection of perks for seasonal shoppers. Bonuses include free photos with Santa every Monday from November 24 to December 15, plus an exclusive shop-while-you-wait system to help avoid languishing in Santa’s line-up from November 24 to December 24. Additional entertainment experiences include:

• Stilt-walking violinist | Saturdays, December 6-20, 3PM-5PM

• Gerald Boey Jazz Band | Sundays, December 7-21, 12PM-2PM

• ‘Christmas in Song’ school and community choir performances | December 5-18
