Volkswagen will be displaying its full lineup of new and innovative vehicles at the 2019 Vancouver International Auto Show – but it’s an older model VW that is creating much of the buzz in the lead-up to this year’s event, March 19-24.
For the nostalgic or the movie-buff in all of us, kids and adults alike – making its first-ever appearance at this year’s event will be BUMBLEBEE, one of eight vehicles used in the 2018 motion picture of the same name.
Older fans of the 1980’s Transformer cartoon series will remember the Autobot transforming into a vintage Volkswagen Bug. In the 2018 ‘Bumblebee’ movie, a prequel to the entire Transformers’ movie franchise, Bumblebee returned to his roots as a cute old yellow 1967 Volkswagen Beetle.
