FEASTER’S summer whisky and wine festival is returning this summer to Hastings Racecourse.
If you’ve never been, you kind of just need to check out thewhisysmoke.com as this is a truly unique event. Over 24 wines and more than 18 whiskies will be showcased, along with live Dixie music, Rebel Rebel BBQ and all the thoroughbred racing you could ask for. Your samples are included in the ticket price.
We have brought in new sponsors and changed the event so that we could reduce ticket prices this year. While the regular price is $95, tickets (during the pre-sale, until they sell-out) are only $50. This price includes either 12 premium wine or premium whisky tastings and of course, a souvenir tasting glass and access to the event itself.
As per our previous years, this event will sell-out and even more so, the discounted tickets being released Tuesday will sell extremely quickly.

Due to the most impressive, derby-style performance in 2023, Cookin’ With Brass will be bringing their derby-style horn band back to Whisky Smoke. Their ability to inject a massive amount of musical energy into this special and unique tasting event is unique only to them. Cookin’ with Brass plays a musical gumbo that nods respectfully to traditional New Orleans groups like The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Rebirth Brass Band. Their ecstatic stage shows are inspired by such great contemporary brass bands as Youngblood and Lucky Chops.
