Pre-orders Now Open for Greater Vancouver Home Delivery or Ladner Pickup
BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood is excited to announce that the 2025 live spot prawn season starts on May 14 and live spot prawns will be available at Ladner Wharf or Greater Vancouver home delivery throughout the season.
Based out of Ladner, BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood (BCLSPS) provides the freshest, wild-caught seafood directly from fishermen to customers. Customers are guaranteed only sustainable, antibiotic-free and hormone-free live, fresh or frozen spot prawns, salmon, sablefish, lingcod, halibut, and more. Since 2019, thousands of happy customers have bought live spot prawns from BCLSPS.

Starting May 15, BCLSPS is excited to offer a number of convenient options for new and returning Greater Vancouver customers to enjoy live spot prawns:
- Home delivery: Bringing spot prawns to your door four days a week
- Pre-order pickup at Ladner Wharf (5000 Elliott Street, Delta): Reserved in advance and packed first from the same-day harvest
- Walk-up sales at Ladner Wharf (5000 Elliott Street, Delta): No pre-order, no problem; available daily from same-day harvest, while quantities last
Pre-orders for Greater Vancouver and pickup in Ladner are now open on the BCLSPS website at bclivespotprawns.com. Limited pre-order spots are available for each day. BCLSPS does not grade its spot prawns and the spot prawns come directly from the fishing boat. That means customers can expect to find the large and XL spot prawns in their order, freshest from the daily catch.
“This year we are launching a status page to provide updates on inventory, delivery, and pickup availability,” adds Chung. “We also have a Live Chat on our website if customers want to find out about prawn availability before coming to Ladner for walk-up sales.”
BCLSPS is also shipping live spot prawns to Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto on select dates.
