Special Features Set for the August Long Weekend

Parq Casino will put pride on full display and show its love for the community at large by hosting special features to spotlight Pride Weekend in Vancouver this August long weekend at the downtown entertainment hub (39 Smithe Street).
Leading up to and throughout the annual Vancouver Pride Weekend festivities, Parq will help locals and visitors celebrate with an array of food, drink and entertainment events that includes:
- Kicking the weekend festivities off on Thursday, July 31 at 5:30 p.m. on Level 3 of the casino as sensational Drag Queen duo Tiffany Anne Co. and Bibi SouPhresh host the popular fast-paced Drag Queen Slot Tournament featuring $1,000 in free-play prizes. Happy Hour will also be available daily at Centre Bar from 2 – 6 p.m.;
- The delicious return of Parq’s signature Rainbow Pride Cheesecake to the menus at Honey Salt, the Victor, D/6 Lounge and BC Kitchen from July 27 to Aug. 3 as well as tables available to be booked for parties with DJs at D/6 throughout the weekend;
- A Pride Brunch at Honey Salt Saturday, Aug. 2 and Sunday Aug. 3 that features Pride-themed décor, a rolling tableside Sangria Cart and special dishes such as Salmon Benedicts, Savoury Dutch Baby or Buttermilk Pancakes
and unique Pride-themed Cocktails that include the ‘Davie Street Dapper’ (peach-infused Canadian Club, Southern Comfort, fresh lemon, egg white), the ‘Queen’s Gambit’ (Bacardi white rum, pineapple, coconut milk, lime juice) and ‘Fizzing With Pride’ (gin, fresh lemon, blackberry balsamic shrub, fresh blackberries, mint);
- A special Pride Edition of the Grand Buffet at The Victor Sunday, Aug. 3 that features full-strength and non-alcoholic Mimosa Flights, a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary & Caesar Bar with every second Caesar or Bloody Mary half price, and a food menu overflowing with mouth-watering options that include classic and contemporary West Coast favourites, a Market & Pâtisserie offering fresh-baked in-house pastries, breads and seasonal mezze, Dim Sum, Sushi and Seafood selections,
