Tahini’s Arrives in Surrey with First Vancouver-Area Location
Rapidly expanding Mediterranean fusion chain lands in the Lower Mainland
Tahini’s Restaurants, Canada’s fastest-growing Mediterranean fusion brand, has officially opened its first Vancouver-area location.
Located at 7488 King George Blvd, the restaurant is now open, delivering Tahini’s signature bold flavours, innovative dishes and welcoming hospitality to one of the city’s most dynamic communities.

The menu balances classic Mediterranean staples with bold, international fusion creations. Fan favourites such as the Korean BBQ Shawarma, Jamaican Jerk Shawarma, and Tandoori Chicken Shawarma join vegetarian offerings like the Greek Halloumi Bowl and Falafel Shawarma and Bowl, all prepared with house-made sauces and fresh ingredients.
Leading the new Surrey location is franchise partner Viren Dua. With more than eight years of experience running successful quick-service restaurants, Dua brings both operational know-how and a passion for food innovation. He sees Tahini’s as an opportunity to bring something new to Surrey’s dining scene, while creating a welcoming space for the community.
