Squamish Canyon Introduces Holiday Magic

Squamish Canyon Introduces Holiday Magic
in the Enchanted Forest This Winter

Squamish Canyon is opening its Enchanted Forest for the 2025-26 winter season with a lineup of festive activities inspired by woodland friends and holiday magic. The canyon will be decorated for the holidays with a playful woodland theme, including fun photo opportunities. Families can wander through the sparkling winter wonderland, meet forest friends along the way, and take part in special events throughout the season. Plus, kids ages 12 and under receive free admission from December 13, 2025 to January 4, 2026!

During the season, families can enjoy the Forest Friends Holiday Hunt, where they can pick up a play pack at check in and head out on a self-guided search for hidden forest friends throughout the Enchanted Forest. Guests can settle in the Forest Lounge for Canyon Host Story Time each Sunday, or cozy up for Movies on the Boardwalk with a lineup of holiday favourites.

Visitors can also get creative during Gingerbread Cookie Decorating with freshly baked cookies, and snap a photo with the jolliest bear in town during Selfies with Santa Paws. To round out the season, Squamish Canyon will host a lively Noon-Years Eve Party on December 31, featuring music, decorations, games, and a cheerful countdown to noon.

“Creating moments of wonder is at the heart of what we do at Squamish Canyon,” says Nicky Walker, Guest Experience Manager. “The holidays are the perfect time to bring that to life. The Enchanted Forest gives families a chance to slow down, explore together, and enjoy a bit of magic in the canyon. We are excited to welcome everyone for a season filled with connection.”

Squamish Canyon is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with last entry at 3 p.m. Guests can also bring their well-behaved pups to Doggy Happy Hour at 2 p.m. each afternoon, offered on the boardwalk for a limited time.
