Celebrating its second anniversary, A Bite of Shunde (順峰順水) continues its season-long celebration from the holiday period through January 21st to February 8th and into Chinese New Year, inviting guests to experience the warmth, abundance, and refinement of authentic Shunde-style Cantonese cuisine.

Inspired by Shunde – a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, A Bite of Shunde is known for its ingredient-driven approach, precise techniques, and dishes designed for sharing, making it a natural destination for festive gatherings and meaningful celebrations.

Seasonal and Anniversary Highlights

Seasonal favourites and anniversary dishes include the Crispy Shunde Squab (脆皮乳鴿), a classic Cantonese delicacy now available as a weekday lunch special for $26 (Mon–Fri; regular price $43), the festive Lobster Tree (龍蝦樹) featuring 2.5-lb lobsters (market price), and the winter classic Fish & Lamb Umami Stew (魚羊鮮), a warming Shunde specialty available at a holiday price of $108 (regular price $128).

Holiday Signature Dishes: Poon Choy & Buddha Jumps Over the Wall

To mark the festive season, A Bite of Shunde presents its Holiday Poon Choy (盤菜) and classic Buddha Jumps Over the Wall (佛跳牆), prepared by Shunde chefs using premium ingredients and traditional slow-braising methods.

The Holiday Poon Choy features fresh abalone, dried scallops, goose web, sea cucumber, tiger prawns, shiitake mushrooms, pork knuckle, soy-sauce chicken, and dace paste, layered generously and finished with the restaurant’s rich, house-made abalone sauce.

January 21st to February 8th, A Bite of Shunde presents a limited-series Premium Baijiu Pairing Dinner, in collaboration with Fenjiu International, one of China’s most historic and iconic spirits producers.

This curated dining experience explores the harmony between refined Shunde cuisine and Fenjiu’s elegant, aromatic character.

January 21st to February 8th, A Bite of Shunde presents a series of reservation-only prix-fixe menus, highlighting the restaurant’s refined Shunde-style Cantonese cuisine.

A Dinner Prix-Fixe Menu is offered at $45 per person, while a Lunch Prix-Fixe Menu is available at $22 per person. Both menus are designed to provide a curated dining experience suitable for both first-time guests and returning diners January 21st to February 8th.

For guests dining in groups, A Bite of Shunde also offers set dinner menus January 21st to February 8th, including a four-guest dinner set priced at $168, a six-guest set at $238, and an eight-guest set at $338. These set menus are designed for sharing and are ideal for celebratory gatherings.
