Celebrate Lunar New Year with LEGO® bricks at Vancouver Mall Activations
To celebrate Lunar New Year, the LEGO Group invites families and fans of all ages to step into a festive LEGO® Lunar New Year activation designed to welcome the season with creativity, play and tradition. Taking place from February 7 to February 17, this immersive experience will pop up at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby and Aberdeen Centre in Richmond.
What visitors can expect:
Hands-on free building: Guests can create their own lucky LEGO builds at dedicated play tables.
Festive Lunar New Year décor: Red-and-gold design elements throughout the space, including a large-scale LEGO brick–built lion photo backdrop inspired by traditional celebrations.
LEGO Wishing Tree: Visitors are invited to write a hope, dream or wish for the year ahead on a custom card and add it to the tree with the help of multilingual brand ambassadors fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, creating a community-led symbol of luck and new beginnings.
Product discovery: Featured LEGO Lunar New Year sets with QR codes linking to the LEGO Lunar New Year landing page and gift-with-purchase offers at select retailers within the shopping centre.
Festive takeaways: Red envelopes distributed while supplies last, inspired by the Lunar New Year gifting tradition.
