For the second consecutive year, the iconic French orange liqueur returns as the Official Orange Liqueur Partner of The World’s 50 Best Bars, proudly sponsoring one of the industry’s most coveted symbols of achievement: the red ceremonial scarf. In 2026, that signature flash of red will take centre stage across all four awards ceremonies — from North America to Asia, and for the very first time,
Europe.

In 2026, Cointreau becomes the global sponsor of the ceremonial scarves across all four awards — the ultimate mark of bar-world brilliance. The scarf’s bold red mirrors the iconic ribbon that has adorned every Cointreau bottle since 1849. It’s a shared signature: heritage, excellence and a fearless spirit of creativity.

Last year, Cointreau turned heads with a limited run of bespoke varsity jackets for friends of the brand at the global ceremony, developed in partnership with French boutique brand and agency Gift Shop Club. In 2026, expect bigger, bolder, more immersive moments across every stop on the tour,  from unexpected collaborations, new product launches and high-energy guest shifts that embody the brand’s “Shake It Up” ethos.

And with the launch of Europe’s 50 Best Bars in Amsterdam this June, the partnership expands into an exciting new chapter highlighting a new wave of talent.
