Desi Indian Lounge is taking the hassle out of the festive season by offering a Holiday Dine-In Four-Course Prix-Fixe Menu and Festive Family Takeout Feasts perfect for four or six people from Christmas Eve (Weds., Dec. 24th) to New Year’s Day (Thurs., Jan. 1st, 2026) at the Indian-inspired dining hotspot located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver at 1355 Hornby Street.
The Holiday Four-Course Prix-Fixe Menu features a starter of BC Vegetable and Lentil Shorba and a choice of Appetizer (Tandoori Pear Salad, Kerala Pepper Chicken, Gobi Manchurian), Entrée (Paneer Pasanda, Lamb Rogan Josh, Konkani Prawns, Malvani Jackfruit) and Dessert (Motichur Cheesecake or Foxtail Millet Pudding) for $35 per guest plus tax & gratuity with wine pairings also available for an additional $25++.

Desi’s Festive Family Takeout Feasts are available for four people for $60 plus tax and gratuity or for six people for $95 plus tax and gratuity and allow holiday hosts to spend more time with friends and family thanks to packages that bring out the flavours of India and feature freshly made, perfectly portioned dishes crafted for sharing around the table.
The Feast for Four contains: a choice of Two Curries (Butter Chicken, Malvani Chicken, Daal Bukhara, Aloo Gobi), a choice of One Rice Dish (Plain or Jackfruit Pulao), a Bread Basket containing four assorted Naan (Butter, Garlic, Plain, Cheese) or Roti (Vegan), a choice of One Starter (Kerala Pepper Chicken or Gobi Manchurian) and choice of One Dessert (Gulab Jamun, Motichur Cheesecake, Foxtail Millet Pudding) with the option to add four Mango Lassis or Soft Drinks for an additional $15.
The Feast for Six contains: a choice of Three Curries (Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Konkani Prawns, Malvani Chicken, Paneer Butter Masala, Aloo Gobi), Two Rice Dishes (Vegetarian Biryani, Steamed Rice), a Bread Basket containing six assorted Naan (Butter, Garlic, Plain, Cheese) or Roti (Vegan) and two Lachha Parathas, a choice of Two Starters (Chicken Tikka, Kerala Pepper Chicken, Shrimp Koli Wada, Gobi Manchurian) and choice of Two Desserts (Gulab Jamun, Motichur Cheesecake, Foxtail Millet Pudding, Malai Ghewar) with the option to add six Mango Lassis or Soft Drinks for an additional $15.
Throughout the holidays, Desi will also offer twice-daily Happy Hours from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. to close that showcase a choice of Paneer or Chicken Thepla Tacos, Nachos, Chili and Momos ($9/$10 ea.), Gobi Manchurian and Shimla Kebabs for $9 each and Chicken Lollipops and Kerala Pepper Chicken for $10 each plus tax.
The Happy Hour drink highlights include signature, hand-crafted $20 cocktails, a selection of BC Craft Beer for $5 per sleeve, Tamarind or Jalapeño Margaritas or Aperol Spritzes for $11 ea., 6oz pours of House Red or White Wine for $7 ea., a choice of vodka, tequila, gin or rum Highballs for $5 (1oz) or $7 (2oz) ea., Mango Lassis for $4 ea. and Mango or Strawberry Mojitos for $6.5 ea.
