and Gifts for Every Wine Lover
Celebrate the Season in the South Okanagan with 100% BC Wines,
Festive Experiences, and a Preview of New Vineyard Stays Coming 2026
As the holidays approach, Kismet Estate Winery invites guests to embrace the joy of giving, the beauty of the vineyard, and the promise of a new year ahead. From limited-edition Wine Advent Calendars and curated gifting to the launch of on-site accommodations in June 2026, the family-owned estate continues to grow while staying true to its roots as one of the South Okanagan’s most welcoming destinations.
A Season of Bounty & BC Pride
This year brought a welcome abundance across Kismet’s vineyards, yielding vibrant fruit, balanced ripeness, and exceptional quality. For the Dhaliwal family, it represents another proud milestone in their three-decade legacy of growing premium grapes in the South Okanagan. Kismet remains committed to crafting wines made entirely from 100% BC-grown fruit, reflecting the land, climate, and people who make each vintage possible.
“After two challenging years of winter freezes and significant crop losses, this harvest brought an incredible rebound for our valley,” says Manpreet Dhaliwal, Head Winemaker and Canada’s first and only South Asian female winemaker. “We were fortunate to see a wealth of fruit, with beautifully concentrated berries showing deep colour and bright, expressive aromas. With extended sunshine through October, the 2025 vintage is shaping up to be one of remarkable quality and character.”
The Dhaliwal family’s philosophy of hard work and respect for the land continues to guide their approach.
“Our goal has always been to care for the vineyard and let the fruit speak for itself,” say Sukhi and Balwinder Dhaliwal, brothers and Kismet’s founders. “Staying true to 100% BC wine is not only a promise to our customers but a reflection of our family’s values.”
Kismet’s dedication to quality was also recognized this month at the Great Northwest Wine Platinum Awards, where the winery earned two top honours. The 2022 Mantra red wine blend received Double Platinum and 95 points, while the 2021 Moksha red wine blend was awarded Platinum with 92 points. Both wines reflect Manpreet Dhaliwal’s meticulous winemaking style and the estate’s focus on balance, structure, and expression of terroir.
Holiday Gifting & Wine Advent Calendars
This year, Kismet invites wine lovers to celebrate the holidays with a series of Wine Advent Calendars that highlight the talent and style of Winemaker Manpreet Dhaliwal. Her 2025 vintage marks an exceptional year of recognition, and these sets offer a memorable way to experience the range, balance, and character that define her approach.

Looking Ahead to 2026

The Dhaliwal family is preparing for the next chapter in Kismet’s story with the introduction of on-site accommodations opening June 2026. The new development includes ten guest suites and a private house nestled among the vines, designed to give visitors a deeper connection to the estate. Guests will be able to walk to Manzil Restaurant each morning for breakfast on the vineyard patio, with the surrounding landscape setting the tone for a relaxing wine-country getaway.
The new lodging also complements Kismet’s popular outdoor event venue, already a sought-after setting for weddings and celebrations. Together, these additions will allow guests to enjoy the full Kismet experience, from the first sip of wine to an overnight stay among the vines.
