This is a blend of 71% Sauvignon Blanc and 29% Semillon. Pale lemon yellow with a tinge of green and medium-light intensity. Aromas of cut grass, fresh peas, gooseberry, grapefruit, and a touch of tropical fruit on the nose. Good balance. Bright mouth-watering fruit on the palate, followed by a medium-long mouth-watering finish. A good match for Chèvre, fresh oysters, or white fish with lemon.

This is a grape that many people are likely unfamiliar with. Grüner has it’s roots in Austria and known for aromas and flavours including yellow apple, green pear, green bean, chervil, and white pepper. This BC example is pale lemon yellow tinged with green and medium-light intensity. The nose shows aromas of citrus, minerality, white pepper, green beans, stone fruit, melon, and honey. Very good balance with a velvety mouthfeel. Juicy on the palate with flavours echoing the nose with lemon and honey dominating followed by a medium-long finish. A great match for veal schnitzel, creamy pastas, or Thai food.
