With colder weather approaching, we’re starting to think about the gift-giving season. Finding the perfect gift isn’t always easy. and Maison Telmont are here to make the search a little easier, with something for everyone on your list—from the spirits lover and cocktail enthusiast to the person who already has everything
Maison Telmont brings together French Champagne heritage, luxury craftsmanship and environmental leadership, with president, Ludovic du Plessis driving the vision and minority owner, Leonardo DiCaprio lending both investment and international visibility to its sustainability mission.
In January 2026, Maison Telmont became the first Champagne house in the world to receive Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) status, earning Bronze-level certification for its organically certified vineyards. The recognition follows months of rigorous audits and on-site assessments conducted by Ecocert Environnement.
The certification recognizes Telmont’s commitment to regenerative agriculture, which goes beyond traditional organic farming by emphasizing soil health, biodiversity, responsible land stewardship and fair working conditions. Its initiatives include planting trees, collecting rainwater and using cover crops to support healthier vineyard ecosystems.
The ROC certification establishes Telmont as a sustainability pioneer in Champagne, demonstrating how luxury winemaking can combine exceptional quality with measurable environmental responsibility. President Ludovic du Plessis described the achievement as the culmination of years of dedication, while minority investor Leonardo DiCaprio called it a significant milestone for both Telmont and the Champagne industry.
About Maison Telmont
Telmont is a century-old start-up: born in 1912 and still daring to challenge the status quo, in the Name of Mother Nature!
Since 2021, through its environmental program In the Name of Mother Nature*, Telmont has pursued a single ambition: to produce exceptional Champagne without any compromise on sustainability. Guided by the belief that “the wine is good if the Earth is beautiful”, the House aims to convert 100% of the estate’s and partner winegrowers’ vineyards to organic and regenerative agriculture by 2031 (with 70% already farmed organically today). In 2025, Telmont became the first Champagne House to earn the Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) certification, on its organic certified vineyards. The House also aims at drastically reducing carbon emissions with the goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050. This commitment is reflected in concrete actions*, including the elimination of gift boxes, the co development of the world’s lightest standard Champagne bottle (800g), the halt of air freight, and the use of renewable energy.
Under the expertise of Cellar Master Brice Bezin, the House crafts champagnes with an airy yet structured style, balancing tension, freshness and remarkable length. In 2024, Telmont unveiled its manifesto cuvée, “Réserve de la Terre”, crafted from 100% organic grapes: radiant, luminous, and full of life, this cuvée represents the future of Maison Telmont.
Telmont is supported by like-minded investors, including Rémy Cointreau, majority shareholder of Telmont, and Leonardo DiCaprio, investor and committed environmentalist.
