Sharing food with friends and family is authentic and primal. The intimacy of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners comes from not just the rarity of gathering at one table, but the fact that everyone at your table is eating the same food from the same dish. Salted Brick is serving up their version of Family Dinners every Wednesday night for the next 6 weeks at their small restaurant/charcuterie shop in downtown Kelowna.
Just 20 seats filled with family and friends will be treated like real family with platters of food served up to share. A sample menu from Chef Jason Leizert for dinner includes Bouillabaisse, Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter and Parmesan, Pork Cheeks with Mushrooms, Buttered Kale and Apple Sauce, Goat Cheese and finishing with a seasonal Apple Tart Tartin. Seats for the Family Dinner are only $25 with children under 12 only $15.
