BC Distilled Tickets On Sale Now
Image supplied by BC Distilled.Tickets are now on sale for the highly anticipated second annual BC Distilled festival promoting British Columbia micro-distilleries. Hosted at CBC Studios, two public tastings will be offered from 4pm – 6pmand 7pm – 9:30pm on Saturday, April 18.
Artisan distillers from twenty-three of the province’s leading small-batch distilleries, including eleven new to this year’s festival, will showcase their ingenuity through distinctive gins, vodkas, and other fine spirits and liqueurs. Aficionados and curious seekers alike will have the opportunity to sip and taste their way through these unique spirits complemented by locally-made beverages from Bittered Sling Extracts, Walter All-Natural Craft Caesar Mix, SIP Soda and Dickie’s Ginger. About BC Distilled:
BC Distilled was founded in 2013 by Alex Hamer with an intent to highlight and celebrate British Columbia’s artisan distilleries. The local spirits movement was on the verge of massive growth due to changes in provincial legislation. In order to raise awareness for this burgeoning industry, the first BC Distilled Festival was launched in 2014. The event is unique to Canada because only local spirits made by small-batch producers are exhibited.
