Joue Design adds surprise ‘Soleil’ and ‘Saison’ capsule collection to Spring/Summer 2015 offering

Canadian design house expands small-batch home accessories range with one-of-a-kind 12 x 18 silk throw pillows
Boutique design house Joue Design has released its first capsule collection of silk throw pillows, now available for purchase online at www.jouedesign.com. A perfect complement to the existing FW2014 and SS2015 collections, the line’s two pillows, ‘Soleil’ and ‘Saison,’ each feature a hand-painted, one-of-a-kind gold metallic design based on the brand’s original watercolour artwork  – and like all Joue Design products are handcrafted with love, designed and made in Canada.

Soleil
Bright and vivid in tone, Soleil is painted with colourful stripes that reflect the sun (‘soleil’ in French). Blues, greens and yellows are punctuated with a glittering, hand painted metallic gold, evoking images of the sun glistening on the ocean.

Saison
Infused with lapis blue of the Cote d’Azur in the French Riviera, Saison (‘season’ in English) compliments the blue tones of the SS2015 Zoe collection. Crisp white and deep blue watercolours are combined for a high-contrast effect, highlighted with hand-painted metallic gold to add a touch of luxe to your home.

Measuring smaller in size than their predecessors, the 12 x 18 capsule collection pillows are timeless in design. Printed on silk, trimmed with a matching golden cord and featuring Joue Design’s five trademarks, including signature gold top-stitching, quality YKK zippers, original hand-painted artwork, durable, high-quality materials, and local artisanal craftsmanship, the collection is nothing short of luxurious.
