Canadian denim company launches Holiday slipper campaign to benefit Kids Help Phone.
Canadian denim retailer Bootlegger has announced a partnership with Kids Help Phone, the only 24/7 counselling service for young people in the country. Starting November 1st, 2016, three limited edition, Plush Slipper Socks will launch online and in all 87 Bootlegger locations across Canada, with $1 from every sale going directly towards the charity. The Plush Slipper Sock collection, curated especially for Holiday gift giving, is part of Bootlegger’s Weekend Lounge wear line.
“Whether it’s about thoughts of suicide, abuse, a relationship break up or homework anxiety, kids need to be able to express themselves — no matter where they are or what time it is — without fear of judgement or consequence,” said Marilyn Brown, Vice President, Revenue Development for Kids Help Phone. “That’s why partnerships with companies like Bootlegger are so important. They help increase awareness of our vital service among young people, and reinforce that it’s ok to reach out to us for support anytime, anywhere. Our professional counsellors are here to listen.”
Kids Help Phone is available to all young people in Canada, providing them with a safe place to turn to for referrals, information and professional counselling over the telephone or online via Live Chat.

The limited edition slippers will be available in-stores and online for purchase in November. They retail for $10 each, with $1 from the sale of each pair of slippers going directly to Kids
