WHAT: The Kettle Society’s Art Against Stigma is a gallery style art show and sale, part of the 20th Annual Eastside Culture Crawl.
Art Against Stigma will feature more than a thousand pieces of art created by local artists living with a mental health disability. All works are available for purchase with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the artists.
The aim of the show is to reduce stigma against mental illness and help create socially inclusive communities that foster recovery and well-being for all.
In addition to the gallery and art sales there will be an opening evening reception and expressive arts workshops. Art Against Stigma is a free event but pre-registration is essential for the expressive arts workshops.
