French master cabinetmaker opens showroom in Vancouver’s Yaletown neighbourhood
Following their global expansion into Shanghai and Chengdu, world-renowned French master cabinetmaker Moissonnier is proud to announce the opening of its first North American showroom located in Vancouver, Canada.
Launched in association with the Vancouver-based husband-and-wife designer/architects Mana and Nader Mobargha, the 3,000 square-foot Moissonnier showroom will boast the storied furniture-maker’s most iconic pieces, each of which reinterprets an historic Gallic furniture style with a trailblazing and avant-garde approach to finishes and aesthetics.
The Moissonnier Vancouver showroom will be complemented by exclusive European partner brands, each chosen for their harmonious designs and refined craftsmanship. Primary among these are the handmade chandeliers, blown glasswork and mirrored furnishings of Venice, Italy’s Arte Veneziana. In addition, the showroom will be appointed with Benardaud fine porcelain and tableware; decorative tiles by Carocim; fired-clay planters by Le Chêne Vert; and Gervasoni outdoor furniture; as well as a scattering of fashion, travel, design and art books by Assouline Publishing.
Customers will be free to experience this tastefully eclectic assemblage of luxury brands in a series of six revolving, immersive room vignettes with a living room and dining room, a master bedroom, a lounge, a “winter garden,” and a library that also doubles as a design consultation studio for the in-house design and architectural team.
Moissonnier’s first North American showroom located at 1028 Mainland Street in Vancouver’s Yaletown neighbourhood opens to the public on Wednesday, November 23 at 11am.
