With Halloween creeping around the corner here is a roundup of Vancouver’s top family-friendly Halloween events happening over the new few weeks.



Pumpkin Express Halloween Train

On Now – October 31st
Price: $10 per person
Located in Surrey, each child who paid an admission will receive a treat to enjoy on the pumpkin express train as it travels through the decorated forest and drops you off, so your child can pick their pumpkin. This is such a fun little experience for the kids.


Stanley Park Ghost Train

On Now – October 31st
Price: $6 – $12 per person (2 years and under are free)
Each year the Stanley Park Ghost Train takes riders on a journey through a mystical and magical world, inspired by Halloween and other spooky tales. This family event is open to all ages and offers a glimpse of the goblins and ghoulish characters inhabiting the stories, legends and folklore of Halloween and Harvest celebrations.


The Chilliwack Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm

On Now – October 31st
Price: $12.50 per person
A 12-acre maze, a giant jumping pillow, pedal carts, a pumpkin patch and more, this attraction is a great spot to take the family for the whole day.

Pumpkin Patch at Southlands Farm

On Now – October 31st
Price: Admission by donation – $5 per pumpkin
Explore a magical farming oasis in the city alongside some friendly farm animals. Grab a book in the Potting Shed Lounge Library or play in the Straw Pile; Meet the goats, sheep, chickens, chicks, and horses. Pick a pumpkin from the Old Apple Orchard and sit by the campfire.

 


Great Big Boo
October 12th – October 29th
Price: $22 per person
50-minute non-scary live show follows the story of Zoe and Justin who sing and dance their way through Boo Alley on a quest to save Halloween, meeting larger-than-life characters along the way. The show features a dynamic original score and spectacular dance numbers. After each show, the audience will be invited to meet the stars and join them for a fun, trick-or-treat event.
