Product Care Recycling, based in Vancouver. We operate a free and sustainable paint reuse program across Canada, and on Tuesday, May 21 from 6-8pm we will be opening an art exhibition at Science World created entirely out of our upcycled paint!
Our “Meet the Artist: Tides” reception will feature Sunshine Coast artist Jan de Beer, and it’s free for the public to attend via our Eventbrite registration. The exhibition will highlight our PaintShare program, which offers free leftover paint to the public. PaintShare keeps high quality, usable paint out of our landfills and waterways, and puts it where it belongs – on walls, DIY projects and paintings!

How does paint reuse and recycling work?
As home painting season approaches, we encourage paint users to recycle their leftover paint to ensure it stays out our landfills and waterways. High quality leftover paint is offered for free to the public for reuse through our PaintShare program to ensure the product lives out its full lifecycle. Artists and DIY enthusiasts can pick up paint to create their own masterpieces. From accent walls and touch-ups to Jan de Beer’s Tides art exhibition – the possibilities to reuse leftover paint are endless! For example, see how influencer Monika Hibbs used our free PaintShare program to spruce up her doors and window trims.
If paint is returned to us that is not suitable for reuse due to reasons such as quality, the paint is managed responsibly, typically through recycling. Our programs ensure that paint has the opportunity to live out its full useful life, and stays out of our landfills and waterways.
