The Yuletide season is officially upon us, and H Tasting Lounge is presenting diners with a bevy of new and delicious ways to make the most of it. From premium prix-fixe Christmas dinners and inventive cocktails—to an enhanced festive tea service and turkey takeout program—the opportunities to indulge are endless.
Festive Afternoon Tea
Served Saturdays & Sundays, November 26 – December 25
HTL’s coveted Festive Afternoon Tea is back and more extravagant than ever. This year, Pastry Chef Martha Ebro makes sweet dreams come true with an ornate display that includes: Orange Almond Cake, Valrhona Dulcey Panna Cotta, Mont Blanc Tarts, Chocolate Peppermint Cream Puffs, and Pumpkin Cranberry Scones. Also placed atop HTL’s signature golden Ferris wheels is a savoury spread of Smoked Ham & Gruyere Quiche, Pacific Smoked Salmon Roulade, Fraser Valley Turkey & Cranberry on Brioche, and Roasted Butternut Squash Crostinis. Sip the season’s finest O-Five Rare Tea and TEALEAVES loose-leaf pairings, or upgrade to a tempting Yuletide libation to make spirits even brighter.

12 Guests of Christmas Dinner Cocktail Menu
November 26 – December 25
HTL invites guests to sip in the season with a newly-released cocktail menu cleverly named the 12 Guests of Christmas Dinner. In this entertaining line up, the talented team of HTL bartenders wrangle our most rambunctious relatives and brings each character to life in 12 personality-packed cocktails. Engage your imagination (or conjure up old memories) by drinking your way down the dinner table with Grandma, Grandpa, Stressed Mom, Clueless Dad, TikTok Teen, Bitter Aunt, and many more entertaining personas.
Festive Turkey Takeout
December 24 & 25
This Christmas, let HTL’s expert culinarians take the lead while you take the credit for a restaurant-quality experience that will leave your holiday guests raving. Bring home a succulent spread that serves 6 to 8 guests and stars a whole-roasted, all-natural Fraser Valley turkey prepared to golden perfection. Also included in the festive feast are: freshly baked sourdough rolls, roasted root vegetables, creamy buttermilk mashed potatoes, aromatic apricot sage stuffing, Brussels sprouts, and more. A decadent Chocolate Hazelnut Yule Log prepared by Pastry Chef, Martha Ebro is the sweetly-satisfying final touch. While the sides will be packaged and cooked, re-heating is required to ensure the integrity of the flavour profile and texture. (Re-heating instructions will be provided.)

Christmas Dinner Service
December 24 & 25, 5:30pm onward
On December 24 and 25, celebrate Christmas with a luxuriant, family-friendly 3-course dinner served in HTL’s enchanting interior. Start with warm Sourdough Boule and your choice of Beet Stracciatella Salad or Miso Butternut Squash Soup, then savour your choice of Sous Vide Fraser Valley Turkey, Salmon Wellington, or Mushroom Risotto for the main event, and dig in to a decadent Eggnog Cream Puff Crème Brûlée for the sweet finale.
A special 3-course kids menu for children 12 and under is also available, and includes: Tomato Soup or Caesar Salad; choice of Christmas Turkey Dinner, Grilled Salmon or Spaghetti Bolognese, and a fully-loaded Ice Cream Sundae.

Christmas at Winterlust
December 24 & 25
An enchanting alfresco dinner awaits in the beauty of our glass-panelled snow globes this Christmas. Gather with loved ones and enjoy a 7-course globally-inspired feast that includes: Sourdough Boule; Beet Stracciatella Salad; Chicken & Duck; Scallops & Halibut; Fraser Valley Turkey; an Eggnog Cream Puff Crème Brûlée, and more. Alternative entrées are available for those who prefer to take a non-traditional route. Complement your heavenly holiday spread with a spirited Yuletide concoction, bottle of bubbly, or a fine reserve wine.

The Giving Tree
Donations accepted November 21 – December 15
The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver has teamed up with Ronald McDonald House to spread tidings of love and joy to families in need this Christmas. Guests are encouraged to read about the families and their stories both online on the interactive Giving Tree site, as well as in-person on paper ornaments hanging from the majestic Christmas tree situated in the hotel lobby. Gift ideas for each family will be listed, and all guests are invited to purchase a gift for a family and leave it with the front desk team, or to provide a monetary donation HERE. Contributions will be accepted November 21 – December 15.
