Stroll through the cobblestoned streets of Gastown with your loved one this Valentine’s day with a romantic dinner as the destination. On Tuesday, February 14th, we will be putting away our à la carte and Chef’s Menus in favour of a five-course decadent Valentine’s Day menu with optional wine pairings.
January is a great time to think about booking corporate events
you have planned for this winter and spring. Our Private
Dining Room can accommodate up to 50 guests for a seated
lunch or dinner or we can divide the space into two smaller
rooms that accommodate up to 24 seated guests. We can also
welcome up to 70 guests for standing receptions with canapés
and beverage menus to suit all tastes. We will take the
stress out of planning your next corporate event; inquire today.
Vancouver Cocktail Week 2023 takes
place from March 5-11 and we’re thrilled
to be collaborating with award-winning
Esquimalt Vermouth & Aperitifs Co-founder,
Quinn Palmer for an aperitifs and cocktail
paired dinner prepared by Chef Lee Cooper
and his team. Limited tickets remain,
click the tickets link below to book today.
Stay tuned for details on what else is
happening at L’Abattoir during cocktail week too!
If you haven’t visited our dining room lately, we’ve recently added two new
art installations on our brick walls for guests to enjoy. On the mezzanine
level eight prints from the late, great, Rodney Graham of his iconic
upside-down trees are proudly displayed. In the entrance overlooking our
bar you will find Ceremony, a painting by Shawn Hunt who is a contemporary
artist of Heiltsuk, French and Scottish ancestry who works with the traditional
northwest coast design principal known as formline. Come enjoy the new
artwork over dinner or a cocktail at the bar!
