WORLD WINE SYNERGY EVOLVES INTO WWS
Celebrating 10 Years of Wine, Wisdom & Sharing Stories of European Excellence
WWS (World Wine Synergy) proudly marks its 10th anniversary in the wine industry with a bold, new brand and logo. This evolution marks not just a milestone but signals a renewed commitment to its mission: to nurture and expand British Columbia’s appreciation of the vast and nuanced world of European wines.
From two wines to over 300
From humble beginnings, with just two wines in its portfolio, WWS has grown to represent over 300 carefully curated wines from 40 European wineries—and counting. WWS is honoured that more than 20 of selections are now available through BC government liquor stores. The remainder of the WWS portfolio is entrusted to private retailers, restaurants, and collectors across the province.
Tales of terroir and authenticity
This journey hasn’t been about chasing a financial bottom-line. Rather, WWS focuses on sharing the stories behind the grapes, championing rare varietals and highlighting unique terroirs. By deepening wine knowledge in a province thirsty for authentic experiences, an education-firstphilosophy has earned WWS a unique place in the wine community.
“We’re tremendously grateful for the trust and enthusiasm of all those who’ve supported our vision,” says WWS founder Grace Li.
Looking forward to a new, digital community
Heading into the next decade, WWS will maintain its founding principles. What’s new is an enhanced website www.worldwinesynergy.com to bring WWS closer to the wine community.
Visitors will discover a welcoming space for wine talks, educational features and interviews, as well as a fresh focus on wine and food pairings.
“Everything aims to make the discovery of wine more accessible, interactive and, above all, enjoyable,” says Li. “We believe that, building around fun and unique events, we will forge an even more dynamic profile in BC’s blossoming wine and food scene—keeping education at the core while celebrating the social and cultural richness of wine.”
WWS raises a glass to the last decade—and to the future of wine exploration, conversation, and community.
