Seattle’s Tomo joins The Acorn for an autumnal feast of all things veg-forward.
About this Visa Infinite Dining Series Experience
Vegetables have never had it so good, and neither have the diners who love them. Since it opened in 2012, The Acorn has been serving up beautiful vegetarian fine dining, its passionately local and seasonal fare earning recognition from everyone from CNN to Michelin along the way. For this special fall feast, Chef Matt Gostelow is joined by Brady Ishiwata Williams, the James Beard Award-winning chef formerly of Seattle’s famous Canlis restaurant. Now at the helm of his own establishment, the Japanese-American Tomo, he has a similar reverence for local ingredients and, like Chef Gostelow, learned his love of food from his grandmother. Expect exceptional plant-based cuisine from two talented chefs, paired with fine wines and well-crafted cocktails.

AnnaLena celebrates the bold, tangy flavours
of a Filipino-inspired feast.
About this Visa Infinite Dining Series Experience
“Salo-salo” is a Filipino expression for sharing a feast or simply eating together, and that is the idea behind this very special dinner at the Michelin-starred AnnaLena. Enter into a space by the design team of Russell Recuenco and Justin Lintag, who will bring in touches of their Filipino-Canadian upbringing, along with lessons carried back from the motherland. Chef Mike Robbins, who grew up in Vancouver influenced by the tables of Filipino friends and families, will lead a seven-course menu reinterpreting some familiar classics. “While not a traditional Filipino dinner, this evening is a reflection of how the culture has influenced me, both personally and professionally,” says Mike. All this will be enhanced with beverage pairings from Michelin-awarded Wine Director Reverie Beall. While this may not be a traditional Filipino dinner, it recognizes the many Filipino cooks Chef Robbins has worked with over the years, and how their culture is woven into the way he cooks, creates and hosts guests around a table. Guests can expect a playful, thoughtful, and heartfelt evening.
