A Season of Sparkle at the Magnolia Hotel & Spa
Festive stays, holiday dining and winter charm
in the heart of Victoria, B.C.
The Magnolia Hotel & Spa welcomes December with warmth and style, inviting guests to experience Victoria’s festive season from the heart of the city. Just steps from the Inner Harbour, the hotel has updated its lobby with new holiday decorations, including oversized fir boughs, touches of silver and pewter, twinkling lights by local floral designer Cory Hewko, and a new photo backdrop.
“This year there’s much to celebrate and be grateful for, with the Magnolia Hotel & Spa receiving its second consecutive MICHELIN 1 Key Award and named #1 Hotel in Canada in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards,” says Bill Lewis, General Manager. “Together with the hotel’s local owners and talented staff, we’re excited to welcome guests and locals for the festive season.”
In spring 2026, guests can look forward to seeing refreshed Diamond guestrooms, thanks to the team’s commitment to continually upgrading the guest experience. The hotel’s top two floors will feature a lighter, contemporary palette, updated finishes guided by Sharon Bortolotto of BBA Design, as well as original West Coast–inspired artwork in every room by Victoria artist Donna Anderson.
At The Courtney Room, the focus is on elevating the everyday over the holidays with delicious dishes full of locally-sourced ingredients, alongside seamless service and a welcoming vibe. Enjoy a special Prix Fixe dinner ($175 plus tax) on Christmas Day featuring Local Oysters, Roasted BC-raised Turkey Breast with all the trimmings and Sticky Toffee Pudding, or ring in the New Year with the restaurant’s delicious A La Carte menu and bubbles at midnight.
During the holidays, the historic Victoria streets come alive with colourful lights and community cheer. Guests can admire the lights at the B.C. Legislature buildings, explore the Festival of Trees at the Bay Centre and the Lights of Wonder at Centennial Square, see the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers’ Nutcracker with the Victoria Symphony at the Royal & McPherson Theatre, or stock up on locally-made gifts at independent shops along Government Street.
The Magnolia Hotel & Spa’s Victoria Christmas Package includes continental breakfast for two, a welcome treat, $75 per night for dining at The Courtney Room, and the hotel’s Happy Holiday’s Curated Trail map – available for stays from December 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026.
