Let’s Sip, Support, and Celebrate the power of women!
We are thrilled to share the details of our 4th Annual International Women’s Day Event, which will be held on Sunday March 8th in the Qualicum Beach Inn Conference Room.
We’re mixing our mingler up this year by hosting a Brunch Event. Picture this: awesome locally-donated silent auction items, mimosas, DIY Caesars, wine tasting, waffles, passed canapés, great conversation, valuable networking, and meaningful fundraising for an incredible local organization, Inclusion Parksville.
Inclusion Parksville provides services to adults with diverse abilities (developmental disabili6es) in the District 69 area (Bowser to Nanoose on Vancouver Island) through innovative programs, person-centered planning, and advocacy, aimed at enhancing the lives of all people in the community. It’s hard to believe that this is our fourth Women’s Day Event. An idea to provide local women with an opportunity to connect and mingle has grown into this beautiful annual networking and fundraising event. Each year we continue to be in awe of the turnout and generosity of the women of the Oceanside and surrounding areas. In our first year we raised over $1,800 for Mamas for Mamas, in year two we more than doubled that to raise $5,300 for Haven Society, and last year we surpassed expectations to raise $5,600 for the Society of Organized Services. And here we are at year four, more excited than ever, to see what good we can create by bringing together incredible women for an incredible cause!
Our event keeps growing, so let’s grow with it! We’re revamping the format of our Women’s Day Event this year in the hopes that we can reach more women and crush our fundraising goal for Inclusion Parksville.
• The event will be held from 12pm-3pm on Sunday March 8th at the QBI Conference Room. Weather-permiting, we can enjoy the expansive patio space of the Qualicum Beach Cafe.
• This year’s event will be ticketed. Tickets will snag you a complimentary mimosa and an extra Door Prize Raffle Ticket. Tickets are $30 when purchased ahead; $35 at the door. You can get your ticket here!

• Fundraising will be done through a Silent Auction and a Door Prize Raffle. This year we are happily accepting donations from local women, businesses, and organizations for the Silent Auction. Any donated item valued under $100 may be bundled with other similarly valued items at the discretion of the organizers.

o We ask that all Silent Auction donations be dropped off by February 28, 2026.
• Proceeds from tickets, raffle, silent auction, and any additional donations will go to Inclusion Parksville!
• We welcome you to join us after the event at the Qualicum Beach Cafe; Happy Hour starts at 3pm! Reservations are strongly encouraged.
This is more than just a networking event; it’s a day of empowerment, connection, and fun for everyone. We hope to welcome all women including mothers, professionals, and even young women like tweens, teens, and young adults. We are thrilled to be hos@ng our fourth International Women’s Day Event.
