Join us for a Day of Divine Summer Revelry
On Thursday, July 2nd, we’re throwing open the vineyard gates and inviting all to gather for a truly blessed summer celebration at Blasted Church Vineyards: The Blasted Church Block Party!
Expect live music all day, holy-happy-hour pricing on wine ($6 glasses—praise be!), cool dips (BYO swim gear, lifeguard on duty), and sunshine-soaked vibes from noon to 7pm. Law of Attraction food truck will be on site!
There will be prizes every hour, wine specials, and plenty of reasons to raise a glass with your fellow parishioners. Best of all? All are welcome and entry is free.
A free shuttle to OK Falls and Penticton is available from 5-7 pm to get you safely home.
Musical Line-up:
12 – 2 pm – Okanagan Sax (Curtis Kieres) is a solo saxophonist creating elegant music for a chill wine-country vibe.
2 – 4 pm – Lachlan Gann is an Australian musician who has made the South Okanagan his home. Lachlan performs covers from an eclectic mix of genres, including blues, rock, country, and folk.
4 – 5:30 pm – Ethan Fuse performs with a loop pedal, creating an entire band live. He plays a mix of classic covers, with the occasional love song to keep the romance flowing.
5:30 – 7 pm – R n R is Ron Rachinski and Rod Kitt from the South Okanagan. They bring acoustically driven campfire pop/rock that people love.
Tips to Maximize your day:
- Bring your swim gear, towels, hats, sunscreen, and lawn chairs to enjoy the pool
- Kids are welcome, and must be supervised by an adult of legal age at all times (we are a licensed premises)
- Dogs on leash are welcome. Consider how your dog enjoys crowds, as it will be a busy day
- The music is complimentary, and the musicians gratefully accept cash tips
- Plan for a safe ride home, or use the free shuttle service (OK Falls and Penticton only)
- Carpool if possible, as parking on site is limited. Additional parking is available on Parsons Road — keep an eye out for our parking attendants to help you find a spot
Mark your calendar and prepare for a little summer salvation, Blasted Church style.
Blasted Church Vineyards is taking a new approach to its summer programming, introducing a new event format: The Blasted Church Block Party on July 2 from 12pm to 7pm.
The shift moves away from a ticketed evening event toward a free, daytime gathering designed to be more accessible and community oriented.
The event will feature live music, approachable wine pricing ($6 glasses), comfort food offerings from Law of Attraction food truck, and open access to the winery grounds – including its pool area to swim (lifeguard on duty)
