Return of Popular Weekend Menu Showcases Old Favourites
and New Fare, Boozy Brunch Classics and Signature Drinks

 

MICHELIN Guide-recommended Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market is giving early birds, late risers and weekend warriors a new reason to get up and after it by adding Weekend Brunch to the menu at the downtown tide-to-table destination located at 762 Cambie Street starting Saturday, July 11th.

Originally a popular fixture on the weekend menu at Fanny Bay before the pandemic, the brunch re-launch will be available Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and brings back old favourites and delicious new West Coast-inspired dishes like Smoked Oyster Quiche, Crab Cake and Lobster Biscuit Bennys, Salmon & Avocado Toast, Breakfast Paella, a Bananas Foster Waffle and more.

Boozy brunch standards also abound at the bar, with libations like Mimosas by the glass or as a Build-Your-Own Kit for two or more that includes a bottle or Prosecco and a choice of orange, grapefruit, cranberry or white cranberry juice; White, Red or Rosé Sangria by the glass or pitcher; Lavender Shafts (vodka, Kahlua, cold brew, lavender whipped cream); BC Caesars (Forty Creek rye, house-made ‘Clamato’ mix, fresh oyster, prawn, smoked salmon, olives), Espresso Martinis and more.

The menu also features organic, fair-trade drip coffee from Salt Spring Island Coffee and a selection of teas as well as zero-proof pilsners and hazy IPAs, Edna’s non-alcoholic Mojito, virgin Caesars, Cirpriani Peach Bellinis and NOA Spritzes.

FANNY BAY POP-UP AT NORTH VAN’S
COPPERPENNY DISTILLING THIS SUNDAY

Fanny Bay is heading back to Copperpenny Distilling Co. this Sunday, July 12 for the next edition of its Sunday Shucking Pop-Up collabs at the award-winning North Shore craft distillery located in North Vancouver’s Lower Lonsdale district at 103-288 Esplanade E Avenue.
Their pop-up event takes place from 2-7 p.m. and features Fanny Bay’s master shucker Hannah Nguyen serving up premium oyster varieties and seasonal shucker’s choice selections paired with a curated menu of gin-based libations created especially for the event.
